Thank You Wife Who Writes for the Liebster Award!

Thank you so much for nominating me for the wonderful award, Wife Who Writes! I’m so happy and honored because there are so many amazing bloggers out there on WordPress who deserve this award more! By now, you’d think that I wouldn’t be feeling this nervous since I have had plenty of time to rehearse my acceptance speech, but did you not see my trophies shaking with excitement? 🙂

So let’s get right into the rules:

Part One: The Thank-Yous

Again, thank you so much, Wife Who Writes, for the Libester Award ! I’m so honored! 🙂

Part Two: The Rules

Part Three: The Questions, 11×2

Here are my answers to your questions:

  • Who is your favorite author (or singer if you don’t really into books)?
Wow, I love and admire people who write books so I have many, many favorite authors! Since Halloween is approaching fast, I’ll say that my favorite authors definitely include R. L. Stine of Goosebumps series, Dan Greenberg of The Zack Files, and Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black of The Spiderwick Chronicles! 🙂
  • If you had a second chance, what event you wish had gone differently?
That’s a good question! If I had a second chance, I have many events in my life I wish had gone differently. LOL. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a second chance to live my life all over again? 🙂 But seriously, though, I believe that life is always full of surprises. We should embrace it and always expect the unexpected. With that being said, we might as well enjoy the ride and learn from our life lessons the best we can. And to prevent repeated mistakes, of course. Easier said than done sometimes, I know. But if you look back you may realize that it can be a kind of fun and exciting roller coaster ride. Hold on a sec (scratching my head)… now how did we get to the topic about roller coaster rides? (sheepish grin) 🙂
  • Where would you rather be right now & what are you doing?
I rather be where I am right now: sitting in front of my computer, blogging away and thanking all you amazing followers/likers/rebloggers/bloggers! 🙂 And I say this from the bottom of my heart. 🙂
  • Name three favorite songs from your childhood
Promise me not to laugh? OK (taking a deep breath), here goes: Mary Had a Little Lamb, Old MacDonalds Had a Farm, And the Green Grass Grew All Around (LOL, not this hole, of course). The list goes on, but this is where I would like to stop. 🙂
  • If you were an actor/actress, who would you be?
I honestly love movies and I admire all the talented actors/actresses. If I have to choose who I want to be, it will be a mixture of many talented actors/actresses. 🙂
  • Did you ever have a moment of epiphany? If you have, how did it change your life/perspective on life?
Wow, this one is going to require a lot of more thinking and take longer time to think through. I’m sure I have many of them, but first, let me see what the next question is… 🙂
  • Name three things you don’t like or wish they are done in a different manner about your traditional custom
I like many things. But some of the things in life can be very different and not very likable at first. Over the years, though, I have learned to take time to get used to them and accept things more in life. 🙂 I hope I’m making sense here. 🙂
  • If you had the power, how would you change them? (related to question number 7).
I guess this means I wouldn’t want to change them. 🙂
  • When was the last time you went to a family trip?
Looooong time ago… Yeah, we should have one… when we have time. 🙂
  • When was the last time you travel with your friends?
Today and every day before that! 🙂 I travel daily with my friends on an exciting journey to this place, and we’re still going great! 🙂
  • When would you like to spend your holidays with your relatives and where would you guys go?
When they all relatively have some free time. We can spend holidays to eat until we drop, for example. 🙂 Any time, any place. 🙂

Part Four: My Nomination Goes to… *Drums Roll*

Again, I have decided to nominate more than a dozen of my amazing followers this time for this fun and wonderful award, because these folks are simply amazing. Hope you don’t mind the long list, because I don’t know who will be accepting this award. 🙂

So the winners go to (drums roll): the next set of my amazing followers and likers on the dashboard, continuing from the previous awards. 🙂 Congratulations! You amazing folks truly deserve this award!! And thank you so much for checking out Teacup Talk and Post a Book!

Part Five: My Questions to You

This is my way of showing my appreciation to all you amazing folks out there, but if you are busy, you don’t have to accept the awards. Or, you can choose to accept the awards without answering the questions. Whatever that works best for you. 🙂 Also, I tried to make sure the questions are not too personal. Hope you’ll have fun and enjoy ‘em!

  • Which one of the 4 seasonings is your favorite? Salt, pepper, ketchup or mayo
  • If you win the grand prize for the lottery, what will you do with the money?
  • (Continued from the question above) Are you OK to be photographed on the newspaper with the prize you win? If not, what kind of crazy mask or costume will you wear?
  • Which movie genre is your favorite?
  • Which music genre do you enjoy the most?
  • If you can own any type of pet, what’s the craziest pet you can think of to own? (It can even be a dinosaur, if you like 🙂 )
  • Which character on Post a Book is most interesting to you? Why? 🙂
  • If you see a real hundred dollar bill stuck to a lamp post, what’s the first thing you will do?
  • You just won an award of your dream, who’s the first person you will thank in your acceptance speech?
  • If you can own a vacation home of your dream, where will it be? (It doesn’t have to be by the beach, for example)
  • If your house can be built out of any material, what kinds of material will you use? (Please don’t restrict it to gingerbread houses)
